The food is good for the most part, but a couple of the dinners aren't very desireable. I think you have to go all in with Nutrisystem, but this is a good deal if you need a kickstart. Amazon offers several Nutrisystem Weight Loss kits. This one isn't my favorite. While still good it has too many pasta dishes for my taste.
However it is nice to switch them up and go with this one as a change. If you don't want to get roped into the entire auto sending of Nutrisystem or you just want to try it out before you commit to the entire program than this is the way to go. This will give you a 5 day course of meals. You will be missing the afternoon snack but you can buy the Nutricrush shakes on Amazon also if you want the entire program. Once you receive the kit you will see that the reason you lose weight is portion control.
These are small portions. You also have to supplement dinner with vegetables. If you are lazy like I am, you can buy frozen vegetables. These are very good and available in a large variety at your grocery store. Most of them are nicely seasoned. Realize it won't be easy at first but if you follow the program you won't really be hunger because you eat often.
